The Client

Corporate Traveller is the UK’s largest travel management company dedicated to partnering with companies with small – medium travel spend requirements. Corporate Traveller are part of the Flight Centre Travel Group.

The Brief

Corporate Traveller clients can book their travel in several ways. The team wanted to showcase each of these booking mechanisms as well as highlight the benefits of having both technology and Expert Travel Consultants on your side.

The brief was to create a 1,500-2,000 word white paper that could showcase the options available to clients, what influences a traveller’s choice of booking platform as well as what specific benefits Corporate Traveller offered.


The Solution

Firstly, I worked to understand the various platforms that were available to Corporate Traveller clients. Using a combination of client briefing notes and research, I was able to illustrate that while technology has advanced to allow virtual meetings and conferences, business travel is still an integral part of corporate life and that more people are travelling for business than before. 

I explored the options of booking travel online via a computer or through a business travel app. Both these options have their benefits, so I took time to show those to the reader. Corporate Traveller have their own travel app, SAM :], which has become an essential tool for many of their clients. This white paper was an ideal opportunity to showcase the features and benefits of SAM :].

I further explored the reasons why traveller may want or need to book their trip using a travel consultant too.
