Date: October 2019

Client: Corporate Traveller

Project Type: White Paper – Copywriting

The Client

The Brief

Corporate Traveller wanted to create a white paper that chowcased how the travel industry was working towards removing single-use plastics from their airlines, hotels and other related businesses. They needed someone to research the topic and create a 1,500-2,000 word white paper that sized up the problem, highligther the changes that were being made by the travel industry, and showcase how travellers could assist.

The Solution

To begin, I researched the topic looking for valuable insights into the size of the problem and what initiatives were already in play. Using a combination of content supplied by Corporate Traveller and my own research, I was able to identify several travel businesses who are tackling the problem head on.

I worked with one of their airline partners to include a case studt of their initiatives as well as get approval on the case study before publication of the white paper.

I drafted the copy with a combination of statistics, case studies, and practical tips to improve the problem.

On completion of the content, the copy was delivered to the Corporate Traveller marketing team for their in-house design studio to design and produce the final white paper.
